Dear Greg, |
|
Have you had a visit from a charming British youth named Liam? He works at Le Salon de Coiffure, where I took my coiffure last week to get it civilized for N.Y.C. and he was telling me about all the body work that his Rabbit needed. I happened to have 10 of your cards in my wallet and gave him one and told him to stop over. If he's been you'll know who I mean: odd hair which combined long golden-white strands on top, crew cut sides and fringe along the edges, together with a nice North London accent. I hope you'll be doing the work on the car. I have even gone and bought collision insurance for the VW so that the next time some nut ploughs into me in the Stanford parking lot, I'll stop round with State Farm $ and have you do more work on it, possibly on the door jambs, too! So thanks very much for your superb craftsmanship and for boosting my spirits, which get down sometimes when I see how few are far between true artists are in the latter part of the 20th C. A.D. Best to you and your medic-friend from |
